Perfumer
Bulgarian perfumer Svetoslav Rusev co-founded Maison Scentique, a house that started with scents for the home. He also made its first perfumes. One smells of warm amber, one of smoky incense, and the third of the sea.
He founded Maison Scentique with Georgi Ananiev in 2018. The house first made reed diffusers and soy candles, and in 2024 it presented its first perfumes, all of them by Rusev. Before that, he and Sezer Sabah made Insomnia for Faviol Seferi.
Rusev sticks to classic themes and keeps them simple. Each perfume has one main ingredient, and the name tells you which. Ambra Nobile has rum and tobacco with the amber, and Encens Fumé has myrrh with the frankincense.
