Perfumer
Laurent Marrone is a French perfumer at Argeville. For Sasva he made Moha, a gourmand perfume of chestnut and coffee with a squeeze of lime.
He came into perfumery in Grasse in 2001, from the technical side. After studying chemistry he worked in quality control, regulation and perfume analysis, and he says that’s where he learned to be a perfumer. He became one in 2012. Besides Sasva, he has made perfumes for Maison Matine, World of Chris Collins and the Australian brand Uniyu.
His perfumes vary a lot. Lost in Translation for Maison Matine is smoky and slightly metallic, with a smell of the sea, and Harlem Nights for World of Chris Collins smells of rum and clove. Moha is warmer and sweeter than both.
