Illustrated portrait of Joëlle Lerioux Patris, independent perfumer with her own lab in Grasse

Perfumer

Joëlle Lerioux Patris

Joëlle Lerioux Patris spent some twenty years at Mane, and today she is an independent perfumer with her own lab in Grasse. For Neydo she made Fiery Fig 24.05, a fig perfume with warm wood.

Who is Joëlle Lerioux Patris

She graduated from ISIPCA in 1998 and started making perfumes straight away. At Mane she made Colonia Mirra for Acqua di Parma and also worked for Jo Malone, Givenchy L’Atelier and LeSnob. In 2019 she went independent and moved back to Grasse, where she works under the name Le Parfumeur Français.

Signature style

She works precisely and likes natural ingredients. Next to her lab in Grasse she has her own garden of scented plants. She often uses rose and warm, resinous scents such as incense, myrrh and oud. So in Fiery Fig 24.05 the fig isn’t fresh and summery but warm and woody.
