Perfumer
Jérôme Épinette is a perfumer at Robertet in New York, known for top-quality natural ingredients. For Room 1015 and the Californian house Liis he makes perfumes that could hardly be more different.
He took a master’s in biochemistry in Dijon and then trained at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery. He joined Robertet’s Paris office in 2003. Three years later he was part of the team that opened Robertet’s perfume studio in New York, where he is now vice president of fine fragrance. He has worked for Victoria’s Secret and L’Occitane as well as niche houses like Atelier Cologne and Olfactive Studio.
For Room 1015, a house inspired by rock music, he makes perfumes such as Cherry Punk, with cherry and leather. His perfumes for Liis are lighter and have just a few clear notes, like Celestial Object with almond and a little incense.
