Perfumer
Perfumer Jakub F. Hiermann co-founded the Prague house Pigmentarium. His perfumes are often woody, green and citrus, and they last for hours. Ad Libitum and Genesis are among them.
He loved perfume from childhood and learned the craft in London, where he lived for six years. In 2018 he founded Pigmentarium in Prague with Tomáš Ric and became its perfumer. He made all of the house’s first perfumes. He has since left the company, but his perfumes still make up the main part of the collection.
Hiermann works in a classical way, yet his perfumes are very different from one another. Ad Libitum is fresh, with citrus, jasmine and oakmoss, and was inspired by sunset over Prague Castle. Erotikon is warm and sweet, with chocolate and vanilla, and Genesis is green, with bay leaf and fig leaf.
