Illustrated portrait of Allie Goodbun, dancer and co-creator of Pear Pavlova for French Cowboy

Perfumer

Allie Goodbun

Allie Goodbun is a Canadian dancer who performs in Paris cabaret. She isn’t a perfumer, but Pear Pavlova for French Cowboy started as her idea. The perfume is light and sweet, like the dessert it’s named after.

Who is Allie Goodbun

French Cowboy made its first perfumes with people from outside perfumery, and Allie was one of them. She came up with the perfume and decided what it should be like, and Ashley Santiago, the youngest perfumer at Givaudan’s Paris office, made it. That’s why Allie is named as the perfume’s co-author.

Signature style

Allie wanted a perfume that smells of pavlova, a dessert of whipped egg whites, fruit and cream. Pear Pavlova is sweet, but it’s neither heavy nor sugary. Pear gives it fruity freshness, and meringue a slightly powdery note.
